There is an online auction going on right now for the Maritime Rabbit Breeders Association. There is a show coming up and we're trying to raise a bit of money. Someone donated a few Netherland Dwarfs, (none are Blue eyed whites) So I decided to look up what colours I could breed to what. I'm not good with genetics, but I know you can't breed a blue-eyed white to any other colour and use it in another breeding program. Blue-eyed whites are like a black hole, once it goes in, it doesn't come back out. There are some colours that can mess with the blue-eyed whites eye colour, though. I believe anything considered to be a "shaded" variety should not be used in a blue-eyed white breeding program as in can cause a ruby cast in the eye.
